Specialist Applied-skills Programme (SAP)

This traineeship is for operatives who have been working in the industry for approximately 6 months. It ensures they will understand standards, techniques, hazards, and safe working practices within this specialised industry.

Upon completion, Trainees will be able to set out and apply road safety markings to industry standards and be competent in identifying and managing hazards. They will have attained their NVQ level 2 Diploma demonstrating accepted levels of competence.

Employers who are up to date with their CITB levy return, and are in scope, may qualify for grant funding for some training modules carried out during the SAP.

This is subject to change, including RSMA and CITB terms & conditions.
