The Diabetes Safety Organisation was established to address the ever-present and increasing safety risk posed by diabetes. 5 million people are living with diabetes in the UK with 700 people a day diagnosed. Diabetes is a known and foreseeable risk in the workplace, with 1 in 12 people having the condition, there needs to be great understanding and effective management.
The Diabetes Safety Organisation works with employers to establish workplace interventions to manage diabetes risk, including safety, compliance, and productivity risks. Our goal is that all employees with diabetes are able to effectively manage their condition at work and those at risk of diabetes are able to prevent it due to healthier workplaces.

A non-returnable application fee of £300+VAT is required on submission of your completed application form.
Once accepted as a member, there is an Annual Basic Subscription Fee applicable to all members, regardless of their category. Each membership year runs from April to March, although new members can join at any time of the year and the fee pro rata accordingly.
