The Highways Champions Awards are the only recognition awards formally backed by the UK’s major national highways institutions: National Highways, The Welsh Government and The Scottish Government. 

The awards are an opportunity to provide national-scale recognition for key members of your teams who have demonstrated exceptional qualities such as skill, planning, innovation, resourcefulness, thoughtfulness, selflessness and bravery. The awards are open to all those in the sector, from the frontline highways workforce and those in the supply chain, to those located mainly in offices and management (both public and private sectors). We also welcome nominations from the blue and orange light services, control rooms and customer contact centres, and we hope to see recognition for the sector’s mental health advocates, physical health workers and safety specialists.
