The return of the Northern Ireland Assembly will be positively received by the road marking industry in Northern Ireland, says the Road Safety Markings Association (RSMA) as, over the last 3 years, investment in transport infrastructure has stalled.
Welcoming the return of Stormont, RSMA Chief Executive, Stu McInroy, said:
“The RSMA welcomes the return of the devolved executive in Northern Ireland and the improved certainty it should bring for our members in the region.
“The administration should seize this opportunity and prioritise investment in transport infrastructure and road safety across the region to keep the tax-paying public safe and on the move. Road markings are the best value-for-money investment in improving the safety and efficiency of roads, costing a fraction of more expensive infrastructure changes.”
