This course is designed to provide an awareness of the legal obligations and the skills and knowledge to cope with an emergency fire situation.

Duration

Normally a ONE day course but this could be reduced to a half day course, depending on candidate numbers.

• Intro to Fire Safety (Fire Triangle)
• Classes of fire and types of extinguishers
• Responsibilities of a fire warden
• Fire precautions/Regulations
• Fire prevention measures
• Alarms and detectors
• Actions to be taken in the event of a fire.
• Evacuation procedures
• Escape routes and equipment

Who is the course for?

All staff to encourage them to take an active role in protecting themselves, your equipment and the company premises.
