Roadmarking Live returned to its conference roots for the 2017 event and we are delighted with the feedback to date. Under the strapline of Standards & Structures, the conference this year sought to provide delegates with an insight into future policy and material and equipment initiatives that will shape the sector going forward.

Roadmarking Live 2017 returned to the mould of previous conferences to ensure it was a conference which was enjoyable and beneficial to delegates; through the feedback we have received so far, this ambition was met.

The two-day event kicked off with a new initiative, the 1st Contractors’ Workshop, introduced in response to members who had asked for more practical and interactive support from the Association. Attendees at the workshop heard first-hand how new client structures, such as combined authorities, could impact upon their business and how to secure their place in the supply chain. The second day of Roadmarking Live featured a number of high-profile speakers, whose day-to-day roles have an impact upon our sector. They were able to provide an insight into the future direction of the highways industry, ensuring the road marking sector is at the forefront of any pertinent changes that are forthcoming.

The conclusion of this year’s Roadmarking Live once again saw the Roadmarking Industry Awards, this year expanded to reflect the amount of skills, talent and innovation within our sector. The very deserving winners epitomise the high standards and success that can be achieved in the roadmarking sector. To see the winners, please click here.
