The Highways Magazine Excellence Awards

The Highways Magazine Excellence Awards celebrate the achievements of companies, authorities, and the best products and services, all of which demonstrate excellence, innovation and best practice within the industry.

In their 7th year now, the awards are established as one of the premier highways industry events'. The broad range of categories gives everyone the opportunity to get involved. The award categories reflect the key areas of responsibility within the industry and are designed to be accessible to organisations of every size and description.

Road Marking Product - Project of the Year

This award will recognise the effective use of road markings in either a highways project or product designed to address major safety or traffic congestion concerns. Projects must demonstrate how they led to either a reduction in accidents, injuries or fatalities or substantially improved journey time reliability. They must have been completed within the last five years. Judges will be particularly assessing and considering or evaluating;

· The quality and objectives of the scheme or innovation of the product

· The safety benefits to the Highways Authority and road users including relevant evidence

· The standard of materials/products in terms of quality and value for money

· Any client/supply chain partnership that contributed to the scheme or development of the product

· Any sustainability impacts that can be considered
