Road Marking Project of the Year - call for entries - 10/06/2009

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL MEMBERS TO PROMOTE THEIR BUSINESS AND THE WORK THEY DO

You may have already seen the flyers and articles promoting the Highways Magazine Excellence awards for 2009.  Once again the Association is sponsoring one of the awards – the Road Marking Project of the Year – which will provide member companies the opportunity to showcase the work they have undertaken in recent years and their contribution to enhanced road safety and or improve journey time reliability.

Promoting entrants and the industry
The awards also provide an opportunity for the RSMA to demonstrate the overall importance of the road marking sector to an efficient and safe highways network.  This year we intend to publish a full colour publication to coincide with our conference, in November, that will showcase all entrants for the Road Marking Award, thereby providing promotion for each of the individual companies and their projects, and the sector as a whole.  This will also be used to support our submissions and promotions relating to the new Road Safety Strategy.

Highways AwardHelping companies with their entries
Following last year when a couple of potential entrants did not submit their projects because of a lack of time, the RSMA will provide members with direct support to bring together and lodge their submission/ project with Highways Magazine and thereby minimise the amount of time this will take companies.

Next steps
If you have a project that fits the description please contact George Lee on 01427 610101 to discuss your potential entry and we will take it from there to work together to produce an outline submission followed by a full project entry.
